Provide a high-quality person-centred approach to care delivery within your sphere of practice always considering patients privacy, dignity and safety.
To deliver planned care to a group of patients working alongside the multi-disciplinary team and in accordance with Trust policies and protocols.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide support/guidance to less experienced staff/learners within the clinical environment as needed.
Manage a defined group of patients/service users under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, using evidence based/client centred principles to undertake a range of delegated tasks independently.
Contribute to the ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of patient/service user care, and escalate to senior registered practitioner as appropriate.
Promote health and prevent ill health in service users, contributing to integrated care.
To plan and undertake clinical tasks guided by standard operating procedures and protocols, within the limitations of the Healthcare Assistant role.
Undertake delegated clinical skills within their scope of practice having once undertaken relevant training, deemed competent and adhere to local and national guidance.

Knowledge, Skills and Training

- Previous experience of working within a fast paced environment

- Existing NVQ level2/3 in Care Demonstrate high level clinical skill Existing observational skills ECG, Venepuncture
Job Specific Experience

- Experience of working in a hospital or community setting within care.

- Ability to undertake basic baseline observations

- IT literacy in order to be able enter patient-related data into identified electronic record systems
