Ward 12C is a 22 bedded Elective surgical unit. we are general surgery which comprises breast, bowel, orology, plastics, ENT and Gynae. there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and be a part of a dynamic and innovative surgical team

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
Essential
- An understanding of the importance of patient confidentially and privacy.
- Recognise how patients and colleagues need to be treated with dignity and respect and can demonstrate these behaviours in their daily work.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- The ability to respond with kindness and humanity to patients.
- A flexible and adaptable approach with the aptitude to work in a busy hospital healthcare setting.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety with an awareness of the importance of following Trust policies and procedures.
Experience
Essential
- Experience of working with people, ideally in a front-line customer service role.
Desirable
- Experience of providing person centred care.
Education, Qualification & Training
Essential
- Level 2 or Level 3 (NVQ) in health and Social Care or equivalent relevant experience
- Willing to work towards Level 2 functional skills (Math & English
- Care Certificate/working towards
Special Circumstances
Essential
- Ability to work agreed shift patterns designed to meet service needs.
- Can demonstrate self-motivation and ability to motivate others
Desirable
- Demonstrates some insight into the fundamentals and complexity of care and care delivery
