We are looking for a confidentSupport Workerwith a passion for delivering outstanding care.

Youll be working42hours a week(12 hour shifts, both day and night shifts),making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care atCygnet Appletree.

Cygnet Appletree, near Durham, is a mental health hospital for women that includes Pippin Ward, a specialist PICU service and Bramley Ward, an intensive support service for women with a personality disorder and complex mental health needs.

Our person-centred service has been designed with wellness in mind, providing a safe and comfortable environment that promotes efficient rehabilitation and recovery. We are dedicated to understand, stabilise and break the traumatic cycles of relapse that can impact service users lives.

Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the serviceEnsure duties are allocated effectively and safelyOffer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all t he people in our careProvide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional supportLearn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate wayAssist with medical & welfare needs and report as requiredSafeguardMaintain a safe & clean environment for all

Starting pay rate £13.15 per/hour, post probation £13.45per/hr, and then £13.70per/hour post 18 months .
