patients in the use of a nebuliser for home use booking out
Prime responsibilities
Healthcare

within limits of ones competence and knowledge, working safely and in
accordance with established protocols.
You are expected to use initiative to resolve problems, but also to
recognise when advice or assistance from appropriately qualified professionals
in the Practice should be obtained.

all times.

Administrative responsibilities
As a
member of the team you will be required to provide efficient, helpful and
sympathetic care to Practice patients, developing skills in equating Practice
protocol with patients demands through sensible use of initiative, flexible
approach and working to consistent high standards of accuracy, he/she will
provide valuable help and support to all colleagues.
Be fully conversant with
relevant protocols and work in accordance with them at all times
Ensure accurate and
legible notes of all consultations and treatments within patients medical
records
Ensure the Systmone
Clinical system is kept up to date with accurate details recorded
Collect information, if
required, for audit and statistical reports
Attend and participate
in Practice meetings as required
Produce recall clinic
letters when required
To assist in seasonal
and special projects as requested, e.g. annual flu campaigns
Ordering and display of
Health Promotion materials
Undertake mandatory
training and other training deemed necessary for the role
Although
the duties listed comprise the main part of the job you may be expected to help
out other members of the Primary Healthcare Team when directed by the practice
nurses. You will be expected to be flexible in undertaking any other tasks
which will help to maximise patient care and good service.
Friendly and Proactive Healthcare team of 4 Partners, with a team providing excellent service to our 6000 patients in the Village of Seghill and surrounding areas. Centrally located only 7 miles from the centre of Newcastle we are very accessible for prospective new staff. We use the Systmone clinical system and past use would be advantageous.
Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE grade A-C In English and Maths essential
- Good IT understanding and skills
- Appropriate Health Care qualification, or
- Proof of extensive experience in General Practice Providing Health Care services
