- Performing venepuncture and blood sampling
- Administering immunisations, including flu and B12 injections
- Measuring blood pressure and other vital signs
- Conducting NHS Health Checks
- Performing diabetic foot checks
- Supporting clinicians with patient care and administrative duties as required
- Working across multiple practice sites within Tameside
Job Purpose
To provide high-quality clinical and administrative support across multiple GP practice sites, assisting the practice team in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

Perform venepuncture and other blood sampling procedures safely and accurately.

Administer immunisations, including flu vaccines and B12 injections.

Measure and record patient blood pressure and other vital signs.

Conduct NHS Health Checks and diabetic foot checks.

Support clinicians during patient consultations and procedures as required.

Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice policies and data protection regulations.

Assist with the smooth running of clinical areas, including preparation and stock management of clinical equipment.

Work flexibly across multiple practice sites to meet service needs.

Participate in training and professional development activities as required.

Experience
Essential
- Experience working in a general practice or primary care setting.
- Competence in venepuncture, immunisations, and basic clinical assessments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites.
- Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
