  • Lead the strategic design and development of the Trust's BI and data architecture.
  • Drive the adoption and optimisation of Microsoft Fabric and cloud-based analytics capabilities.
  • Oversee SQL Server, data warehouse, reporting and integration platforms.
  • Develop scalable data models, engineering pipelines and reporting solutions.
  • Provide expert technical advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders.Lead and develop a high-performing team of BI professionals.
  • Establish technical standards, governance and assurance processes- including ownership of a robust and logical Organisational Reporting Structure for the Trust.
  • Support innovation through automation, AI-enabled capabilities and modern analytics tools.
  • Ensure robust information governance, security, resilience and business continuity across the data estate.
  • Deliver a technical roadmap that balances operational priorities with long-term transformation.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Educated to master's level or equivalent experience in business intelligence, data architecture, analytics or a related discipline.
  • Significant senior-level experience leading BI, data or analytics technology functions within a complex organisation.

Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. data science, information systems, analytics or digital transformation).

Skills and abilities

Essential

  • Advanced technical expertise across the full BI stack
  • End-to-end data architecture and semantic modelling capability
