The Head Chef position at Agincare Homes Holdings is a permanent role in High Wycombe, offering a salary of £16.56 per hour. What is required from you? - A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
- A background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week including weekends.
- Kitchen experience in a care home setting is essential
A day in the life of a Cook - Menu planning -Collaborating with the home manager and our residents' requests and wishes, you will be able to develop and implement menu ideas. Our homes are always having themed days and events where you can showcase your skills and creativity.
- Understanding dietary needs - You will work closely with the wider staff to ensure we are meeting our resident's specific nutritional and dietary needs including modified food textures and allergies.
- Kitchen Management -You will be the main point of contact for the kitchen and responsible for the day to day running of stock management and hygiene standards
