Head Chef

The role of a Head Chef at Agincare involves more than just cooking; it entails providing a high quality of life for care home residents. The Head Chef will collaborate with the home manager to plan and implement menu ideas, taking into account residents dietary needs, including modified food textures and allergies. The position involves kitchen management, including stock management and maintaining hygiene standards. The role does not require evening or night work and offers a salary of £18.00 per hour. The position requires at least a years right to work, a background in kitchen work, and ideally knowledge of the IDDSI framework. A day in the life of a Cook - Menu planning -Collaborating with the home manager and our residents' requests and wishes, you will be able to develop and implement menu ideas. Our homes are always having themed days and events where you can showcase your skills and creativity.
