We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Gynaecology Hysteroscopy Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join 18 Week Support across the Southwest region. You will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their outpatient journey, helping to deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care.

Vital signs Observation
Urine Analysis, Pregnancy Testing, Blood Glucose monitoring
Knowledge of Record Keeping and Confidentiality
Knowledge of Specimen Management
Aseptic Technique
Hand washing and Infection Control
Disposal of Clinical Waste

Ability to assist with

Set up and use Lletz machine
Set up and use Novosure /Myosure machine
Endometrial ablation and biopsy
Resection of fibroid (hysteroscopic)
Set up of Hysteroscopy trolley and stack system

Experience

Essential

Current experience working within a surgical setting for a minimum of 6 months within the last 12 months.
Proven NHS experience.
Experience working within clinics or theatre environments is desirable.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
