Band 7 Grace Nurse - Sexual Health Job IntroductionBe the nurse who changes access to sexual and reproductive healthcare for the women who need it most. Are you an experienced Sexual Health Nurse looking for more than a clinic-based role? Would you like the autonomy to shape a pioneering service, work across organisations, influence local healthcare delivery, and make a tangible difference to women facing the greatest barriers to accessing care? We are seeking an ambitious, compassionate and highly skilled Band 7 GRACE Nurse to lead the delivery of an innovative, trauma-informed sexual and reproductive health model across Leicestershire and Rutland. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced practitioner to combine advanced clinical practice with outreach, service development, leadership and population health improvement. About the role As our GRACE Nurse, you will work as an autonomous advanced practitioner, providing expert contraception and sexual health care while acting as a trusted link between NHS services, community organisations, public health teams and local authority partners. You will support women aged 16+ through an accessible, person-centred service, helping to improve outcomes and reduce health inequalities for those who are often underserved by traditional healthcare models. This is not just a clinical role. You will have the opportunity to:

Deliver complex contraception and sexual health careUndertake implant and coil fitting and removalProvide trauma-informed support to women with complex needsDevelop innovative outreach approaches and community partnershipsLead on service improvement and transformationAnalyse service data to influence future service developmentSupport and develop a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant within a "grow your own" workforce modelWork closely with Public Health and strategic partners to improve access and outcomes across the local system.
