As a GP Partner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred clinical care while contributing to the leadership, management, and strategic development of the practice. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and sustainable services, helping to shape the future direction of the practice and meet the needs of our patient population.
Clinical Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct face-to-face, telephone, online, and home visit consultations as required.
- Promote preventative healthcare and health education.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and safeguarding activities.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Partnership Responsibilities- Share responsibility for the leadership, strategic direction, and overall management of the practice.
- Contribute to financial planning, business development, and practice sustainability.
- Support compliance with NHS, CQC, and contractual requirements.
- Provide leadership and support to clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Represent the practice within the PCN, local healthcare system, and wider stakeholder networks.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated GP Partner to join our friendly and supportive practice team. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed clinician to combine the delivery of high-quality patient care with an active role in the leadership, management, and future development of the practice. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and patient-centred services while contributing to the strategic direction, sustainability, and continued success of the practice.
- Provide comprehensive general medical care to registered patients.
- Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Provide appropriate prescribing, referrals, investigations, treatment and follow-up.
- Provide continuity of care and develop positive relationships with patients and their families.
- Contribute to the management of patients with long-term conditions, preventative healthcare and health promotion.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including GPs, Practice Nurse, Nursing Associate, Pharmacists and administrative staff.
- Participate in clinical governance, safeguarding, significant event reviews, audits and quality improvement.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
- Contribute to practice meetings and the ongoing development and improvement of practice services.
- As a GP Partner, contribute to the leadership, strategic direction and decision-making of the practice, working collaboratively with the existing Partners.
- Support the practice in maintaining high standards of patient care, clinical safety and professional governance.
We are a friendly, supportive GP practice based in the heart of Bury Town Centre, caring for approximately 4,500 patients. We are a close-knit team who take pride in providing high-quality, personalised care to our patients.
Our clinical team currently comprises of GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Practice Nurse, Nursing Associate, Pharmacists and First Contact Practitioner supported by a dedicated administrative team. We work collaboratively and value the contribution of every member of the practice.

Qualifications
Essential
- GMC registration and licence to practise.
- Included on the NHS England GP Performers List.
- MRCGP (or equivalent).
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, approachable and professional.
- Organised and able to manage a varied clinical workload.
- Interested in contributing to the continued development and success of the practice.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to our mission of providing outstanding care and promoting patient wellness.
