Locum Band 3 Genomic Assistant (Cancer Triage) The Oxford Centre for Genomic Medicine is seeking a collegiate, organised and compassionate individual ...

  • Drawing and/or quality checking medical family history drawings using software (Pedigree assistant/Phenotips) based on patient provided information.
  • Organising DNA storage for patients or their relatives with advanced cancer
  • Under direct supervision of a Senior Genomic Nurse, requesting medical confirmations of cancer diagnoses from pathology laboratories, medical records and the UK cancer registry in accordance with GDPR and the British Society for Genomic Medicine
  • Under direct supervision of a Senior Genomic Nurse, providing pre and post clinic support to Genetic Counsellors and Clinical Geneticists.
