To work as part of a team providing a comprehensive and effective service. To carry out examinations of patients as directed, to high standards, and to look after their welfare whilst they are in the Radiology Department.
Applicants must be HCPC registered and have previous NHS experience.
The post holder will be expected to work a shift pattern which includes nights and weekend working.

Qualifications and training
Essential
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent (or within six months to completion of above)
- HCPC Registration (or will be once qualified)
Desirable
- Previous Radiology experience

- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
Clinical experience
Essential
- Evidence of general radiographic duties during training or recent employment
- Previous NHS Experience
Desirable
- Experience of other modalities
Clinical knowledge/Skills
Essential
- Good Anatomy & Pathology knowledge
- Good knowledge of Radiographic Procedures
- Knowledge of IR(ME)R & IRR
- To be proficient in carrying out all basic x-rays

- To be aware of and adhere to the Trust's Vision, Mission and Values
