GP Opportunity | Bridgwater Bay PCN | October - March Looking for a flexible GP role this winter? Join Bridgwater Bay Primary Care Network on a 6-mont...

As a General Practitioner within Bridgwater Bay Primary Care Network, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred clinical care across a network of GP practices during the busy winter period. Working as part of experienced multidisciplinary teams, you will undertake a mix of routine and urgent consultations, supporting practices to manage increased seasonal demand while maintaining excellent standards of care.

You will assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and long-term health conditions, develop appropriate treatment plans, prescribe safely, and make referrals where required. The role involves working collaboratively with practice teams, PCN colleagues and wider health and care services to ensure patients receive coordinated and effective care.

You will contribute to continuity of care by building positive relationships with patients and practice staff and adapting to different practice environments across the network. The successful postholder will support service resilience, share clinical expertise, and help practices deliver safe, responsive and accessible primary care services.

This flexible role offers the opportunity to work across several practices or spend longer periods within individual practices, ensuring a manageable and sustainable approach while making a meaningful contribution to patient care and winter service delivery across Bridgwater Bay PCN.

This is a unique opportunity to work across our network of nine friendly GP practices, providing additional clinical support where it is needed most while enjoying a flexible role designed around both service need and work-life balance.

Working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality GP consultations.
