Shap Medical Practice is a friendly, rural GP practice serving around 3,300 patients across Shap and the surrounding communities. We are a close-knit team who work together to provide high-quality care to our patients and support one another in what can be a busy and varied environment.
Our team includes GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, dispensary staff, administrators and reception colleagues, alongside a wider multidisciplinary team and community services. We value good communication, teamwork and a willingness to help each other out.
We are looking for someone who will fit well within our team someone who is approachable, compassionate and organised, but who can also work independently and take ownership of their role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues and to become an important part of the way we support our older and more vulnerable patients.
We take pride in knowing our patients and being part of the local community. If you are someone who genuinely cares about older people, enjoys working with others and wants to make a practical difference to people's lives, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
