As a Food & Beverage Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you'll be responsible for creating a positive dining experience for residents, families, and visitors. This role includes serving meals, maintaining clean and inviting dining areas, and working closely with hospitality and kitchen teams. You'll support the daily food and beverage services within the home, leveraging your attention to detail and friendly approach to maintain Barchester's high standards. The position requires experience in hospitality or customer service, good communication and teamwork skills, and knowledge of food hygiene practices. Additionally, you must have a passion for excellent customer service and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.

From serving meals and refreshments to ensuring dining areas are clean, comfortable and inviting, you'll help make every mealtime a positive experience.

Working closely with our hospitality and kitchen teams, you'll support the day-to-day delivery of food and beverage services throughout the home. Whether you're preparing dining areas, serving residents or assisting with kitchen duties, your friendly approach and attention to detail will help us deliver the high standards we're known for.

ABOUT YOU To join us as a Food & Beverage Assistant, you'll need:

Experience in a hospitality, catering or customer service environment A friendly, caring and professional approach Good communication and teamwork skills An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices A passion for delivering excellent customer service The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
