Amare Health is currently recruiting for an experienced First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) to join an NHS Trust in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and autonomous physiotherapist looking to work within a forward-thinking primary care environment, with excellent rates available.
As a First Contact Physiotherapist, you will work as an autonomous clinician within a primary care setting, assessing, diagnosing and managing patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions.
- Providing expert clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with MSK presentations.
- Acting as a first point of contact for patients with musculoskeletal problems.
- Developing and implementing appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Providing self-management advice, education and exercise programmes.
- Identifying red flags and appropriately referring patients to other healthcare professionals and services where required.
- Working collaboratively with GPs, practice staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring high standards of clinical governance.
We are looking for a qualified Physiotherapist with relevant experience in MSK and First Contact Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Relevant UK physiotherapy experience.
- Strong MSK clinical assessment and treatment experience.
- Previous First Contact Physiotherapy / primary care experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A strong understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding.
