Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an individual who is...

Main responsibilities will include

  • Processing all Supplier invoices, including matching to Purchase Orders
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Chasing, organising and reconciling Supplier Statements
  • Assisting with queries from the Trust
  • Process the weekly payment run
  • Dealing with the suppliers
  • Month end reporting
  • Adhoc duties as and when required

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in a similar area within either the NHS or the private sector.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Studying towards AAT or equivalent or equivalent finance experience.

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Knowledge of finance processes and procedures in a similar area
  • Able to communicate internally with various levels of management and Ability to communicate with partner organisations
  • Able to plan and prioritise own workload 5. Excellent IT skills in particular Excel and Word

Desirable

  • Good working knowledge of Agresso Accounting System or other finance systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers, with regards to complex issues
  • Good Analytical Skills
