Job Title: Support WorkerLocation: Stevenage, SG3Pay rate: From £14.31 - £16.55 PAYEJob Type: Various bank shifts days and nights Shift patterns: 9am-4pm, 3pm-9pm, 9pm-9 am (waking night)Priority Recruitment are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker in Stevenage.We are searching for a female Support Worker to assist a client living with brain injury and mobility and communication issues. The role includes personal care, supporting her in her day-to-day life, as well as helping her interact with the community and enjoy activities such as shopping or bowling.Do you share our belief that disability is not a barrier, and it doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences?Please note that previous experience in complex care and a driver’s license is required for this role.Salary & Benefits: Above market pay rate: £14.31 - £16.55 PAYEPaid induction program to get you started.Dedicated learning and development program.Access to a wide range of free online courses for all staff on a variety of topics.Free DBS check.Refer a friend scheme – you can earn up to £500 per referral! Company and Role: Supporting the client at her own home.The client lives with a brain injury and experiences communication and mobility difficulties.Personal care will be involved, in addition to companionship, taking part in activities, and other ways of interacting with the local community.This is initially a bank role transitioning to 30 hours per week
Successful Applicant: Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.Previous experience with brain injury is preferred, but not essential – training will be provided.Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).
