We are seeking an experienced ePCR Senior Business Intelligence Developer to support the preparation for and introduction of a new Electronic Patient ...

To work closely with the Clinical Information and Records Team, the new EPCR Project Working Group and the Data, Analytics and Insight Team to support the development and maintenance of data flows and pipelines, integrate the legacy and new data and ensure the effective flow of clinical data.

Working with the Clinical Information and Records Team to introduce the new EPCR data and data pipelines

Integrate existing / legacy data with the new EPCR data

Support the transition from the legacy system to the new, including all tasks relating to clinical information management (legacy reporting / new reporting etc.)

Creating and running appropriate tests

Maintenance of Clinical Databases & data flows

Peer review and support

Stakeholder engagement

Report development (inc. Power BI)

System UAT support, including system integration testing

Other project and BAU tasks, as required

Education and Qualifications

Essential: - Qualified to degree level in an IT related subject or extensive experience in the field; - Full UK Driving License

Previous Experience

Essential

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and later including TSQL, Stored Procedures and functions with a significant experience designing and developing SQL reports
  • Proven data engineering integration experience (ETL/ELT/OLAP)
  • Experience developing end to end PowerBI reports (or similar)
  • Experience of testing (data flows, reporting etc.)
  • Relevant system development experience
  • Proven SQL database administration experience
  • Proven experience of Data Engineering and warehousing
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language

Desirable

  • Proven experience of managing change in information systems
  • Proven knowledge and experience of configuring a system to a user's specification via a Change Control Process
