- Responsible for the maintaining accurate diary systems from the Endoscopy timetable ensuring Consultant/Doctors annual and study leave information is accurately recorded, to ensure the smooth running of the serviceo To manage the waiting list - Recording, maintaining, and updating waiting list information on patient centre within agreed timescales, so that the PTL data is accurate at all timeso Co-ordinate the tasks for negotiating and agreeing procedure dates with patients, sending out confirmation letters or other appropriate correspondence and patient information within the booking systemo Responsible for re-booking of all patients who have been cancelled for clinical/non-clinical reasons with agreed performance target deadlineso Directly manage the Endoscopy Reporting System HICCS as System Administrator. Ensuring that Drug Packages, Consultants and referring information is correct and up to date. Ensure that all reports produced are correct and purging any incorrect admissions. Tracking additional users and removing people that no longer use the system. While producing reports for consultants using patient or list specific information.
- Monitoring, managing, and validating Active and Deferred waiting lists, initiating appropriate action to address problems which arise to ensure patients do not breach maximum waiting times and ensuring patient are given reasonable notice and choice of the date for their procedure
