EHCP Complex Case Officer - West Berkshire Location: West BerkshireRate: £292.31 per dayWorking Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite at Market Street, The manager will consider fully remote working for the right candidatePertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced EHCP Complex Case Officer to join a busy SEND team within West Berkshire.This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable SEND professional to manage complex cases and support the statutory processes surrounding Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The successful candidate will work closely with children and young people, parents, schools and a range of professionals to ensure cases are progressed efficiently and in line with statutory requirements.Key Responsibilities

Manage a complex caseload of children and young people with SEND and EHCPsContribute to the statutory arrangements for identifying, assessing and providing for children with special educational needsComplete and manage statutory Annual Review processes in line with relevant legislationEnsure EHCP and Annual Review processes are completed within statutory timescalesLiaise with Headteachers, Educational Psychologists, schools and other professionals to obtain and collate relevant adviceWork directly with parents and carers, providing clear and transparent information regarding their child’s caseManage admissions and placement processes, including post-16 provisionAttend Annual Reviews and other meetings when requiredMaintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and manual case recordsPrioritise and progress cases involving children and young people who are looked after by the Local AuthorityAttend Support and Review Meetings on behalf of senior SEND management when required Essential Experience
