This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means being able to communicate in Welsh during routine clinical situations, such as welcoming patients, discussing straightforward aspects of their care and answering routine questions. Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with current registration Degree or equivalent skills. knowledge and experience. Evidence of Post Registration Study such as attendance at short courses, specialist training to Diploma level equivalency. Evidence of ongoing CPD

- Knowledge of Primary and community Health care. Understanding of complex social and health need and how to assist in resolving them.

Experience

- Considerable experience as a Registered Nurse. Experience of inter-agency and multidisciplinary team working. Experience in making professional/clinical judgements and care need evaluations.

Desirable
- Community experience.
- Experience of providing specialist advice to colleagues and partner organisations.
- Experience of supervising staff.

- Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge base and experience and adapt them to different clinical settings.
