Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can really make a difference? Agincare Homes Holdings is looking for a Domestic Care Assistant in Poole. You will work in a nurturing environment with our specialised support team at Chalgrove care & nursing home. This is a permanent position with a salary of £12.72 per hour. Whether you are new to care or looking for a new challenge away from hospitality and retail, this role offers an opportunity to join the Agincare family as a Housekeeper. You will perform communal cleaning, attend to domestic tasks like dusting and vacuuming, and provide companionship for residents. What is required from you?
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
- This position is working 42 hours per week, including alternate weekends
A day in the life of a Housekeeper
- Communal cleaning ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
- Domestic tasks -dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
- Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Companionship- Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
