Domestic Assistant (WCH) - 32.81 hours per week - working on rota 5 days on, 3 days off. Shifts are 7am - 3pm. (2 positions available) To promote and ...
Vacuum/sweep, mop floors
Floor buffing
Shampoo carpets with extraction machines
Low/high damp dusting
Clean inside windows, frames and sills
Clean furniture and fittings, mirrors etc, to include moving of furniture and equipment as required to enable efficient cleaning
Assist in induction of new staff
Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment
Attend all Mandatory training sessions
Order weekly stores and put away on delivery

Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level1 Cleaning & Support Services or equivalent
- BICSc certification or equivalent
Desirable
- NVQ 2 in Cleaning and Support Services
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Knowledge of cleaning, food handling/hygiene, COSHH procedures
- Basic Literacy and Numeracy
Desirable
- Work in a hospital environment
- Work in a domestic role
Skills and Aptitudes

- Good communication skills
- Able to work alone and in a team
- Ability to use own initiative
- Able to follow health and safety and hygiene procedures
