Dorset HealthCare are looking for a Domestic Assistant to join the friendly Facilities team, based at Canford Heath Community Clinic. The role of the ...

1. MONITORING

Maintaining cleaning standards using the recognised quality control procedures.

Receiving and actioning feedback from cleaning audits on a monthly basis if required.

2. STORES

To maintain cleaning product stock levels and liaise with the Community Clinic/Outside Unit Supervisor if more is required.

Restock the cleaning cupboards in the Community Clinic if required.

Ensuring that the cleaning is maintained to the required standards.

Ensuring that the correct work methods are observed.

Cleaning of all areas including public waiting areas and reception, offices, break areas, clinic rooms, kitchens and toilets.

Damp dusting and polishing of all furniture.

Dusting walls and cleaning paintwork

Washing tiles and paintwork

Cleaning lavatories and basins

Cleaning floors, including hard and soft floor.

Disposal of general waste from office areas.

Cleaning of surfaces and fittings in offices.

Knowledge, skills and training

Desirable: - NVQ Level 1 / 2; - Health & Safety Certificate

  • Experience of working in a similar environment/position
