Dorset HealthCare are looking for a two Domestic Assistants to join the friendly Facilities team, based at Winton Neighbourhood Health Centre. The rol...

To support the Facilities team in their role and to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented andmaintained.

Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, clinic rooms, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.

This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.

All the above vacancies offer an opportunity to work extra hours as able - to cover sickness and staff holidays.

Good pay rates, 27 day annual leave per year to start plus BH and weekend enhancements if required.

Knowledge, skills and training

Essential: - Good communication skills; - Knowledge of COSHH, induction and on-going training

Desirable: - Level 2 in Housekeeping or working towards

Experience

Essential: - Previous experience in a similar role

Finance / Resources

Essential: - Knowledge of stock control procedures and methods

Information Technology / Resources

Essential: - Basic IT skills

  • Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English to a standard which enables the post holder to carry out the full range of duties and responsibilities of the role effectively.
