- Organise, lead, and promote interest in recreational activities in an inclusive, stimulating, and safe environment.
- Ascertain and interpret group interests, evaluate equipment and facilities, and adapt activities to meet individual participant needs.
- Explain principles, techniques, and safety procedures to participants in recreational activities, and demonstrate use of materials and equipment.
- Develop positive relationships with participants.
- To adopt a pragmatic and non-judgmental approach.

Experience
Essential
- Demonstrate experience in a patient facing role within a mental health setting or currently studying for a mental health nursing, AHP or psychology degree/qualification.
Qualifications
Essential
- Level 3 Qualification in a health related subject or equivalent
- Level 2 Qualification in a health related subject and extensive patient facing experience (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a paid care role
