Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead (RN)

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a full time role 40hrs per week, including working every other weekend. As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you will support the delivery of the quality care known for Barchester. You will work closely with the General Manager, taking on leadership duties in their absence, and can expect to help with everything from ensuring care standards to motivating your team. Inspiring a multidisciplinary team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life is essential. This role involves leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and checking regulatory compliance. ABOUT YOU To join as a Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead, being a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification is required. Experience in helping residents with different health needs, managing safeguarding investigations, and clinical risk assessments are important. HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship are advantageous. Being compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in an engaging and energetic environment is essential.
