Location: BracknellContract: PermanentSalary: £34,700 – £40,700 per annum including sleep ins (£16.41 – £19.49 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, plus sleep ins)Hours: Full time. Our work focuses on reducing risk, addressing complex needs and empowering young people to move forward into safe, responsible and fulfilling adult lives.The RoleAs a Deputy Home Manager you will: Support with the day-to-day running of the homeEnsure high standards of care, safeguarding and complianceSupport, supervise and develop the staff teamPromote trauma-informed and therapeutic approachesAct as a positive role model for young peopleSupport young people to achieve personal goals and independenceAssist with reports and regulatory requirements What We're Looking ForTo be a successful Deputy Home Manager at SWAAY, you will have: Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent, e.g. Social Work Degree)Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma (or willingness to work towards)Previous experience working with children and young people in residential settingsExperience in a senior role or deputy position with managerial responsibilitiesStrong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed careCompassion, resilience and the ability to act as a positive role model to both the young people and staff team Why Work With Us?
