Dental Nurse Location: South Lanarkshire areaSalary: £13.00–£15.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualificationsHours: 37.5 hours per weekContract: Full-time Nurse Seekers are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent dental practice for a Dental Nurse with Reception Duties to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a varied position combining chairside dental nursing, surgery preparation and reception duties, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys patient contact and wants to develop their career within dentistry. Previous dental nursing experience and GDC registration are essential.. Key Benefits

Providing chairside assistance during dental appointmentsPreparing surgeries for proceduresMaintaining high standards of cross-infection controlCleaning and sterilising instrumentsMonitoring and replenishing clinical stockEnsuring surgeries are fully prepared for patients Reception Duties
Booking and managing patient appointmentsSupporting the smooth running of the practice diaryResponding to patient queries in a friendly and professional mannerMaintaining accurate patient recordsSupporting the general administration of the practice Patient Care
Providing a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patientsCommunicating effectively with patients and colleaguesSupporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice Working Hours 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The exact working pattern will be discussed during the recruitment process. About You The successful candidate will ideally be:
Friendly, reliable and patient-focusedA confident communicatorOrganised and able to manage multiple tasksComfortable using computersWilling to learn and follow practice proceduresProfessional and approachableKeen to develop their skills within dentistry Experience using SOE, Exact or similar dental software would be advantageous but is not essential.
