This post offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated CT Radiographer to develop their managerial skills and imaging skills as part of a small dedicated team in a busy District General Hospital. Duties involve working as part of the radiographer team, producing rotas, staff management,
The successful applicant would work along side the other band 7 Radiographers with support from the Trust Lead Radiographer.
It is essential that you are flexible and able to work a range of hours that include long days, evenings, out of hours and weekends according to the needs of the service.
Staff may be asked to cover at other sites when required.

Qualifications
Essential: - BSc in radiography or equivalent.; - Current HCPC registration.; - Further postgraduate development to certificate or equivalent.
Desirable: - Postgraduate qualifications at MSc level; - Management certificate or equivalent.

- Complex Radiographic Medical Devices
- Specialist radiography
- Well-developed radiographic practise within an acute hospital.
- Mentorship.
- Teaching and appraisal.
- Application of human resource policies.
- Microsoft office applications
Desirable: - Multidisciplinary team leadership; - People, resource and budgetary management
Knowledge
Essential
- Patient care including signs of deteriorating health and first level life support techniques
- Complex Radiographic Medical Devices
- Specialist Radiography (As appropriate to post)
- Continuing professional development with portfolio.
- Radiology intervention.
- QA testing.
- Protection of persons against radiation hazards
- Infection control.
- Image processing.
- Advanced anatomy, physiology and pathology recognition.
- Teaching.
- Managing complaints & incidents.
