Diagnostic Radiographer (CT & General Imaging) Imaging Department ,Band 6

20 Devonshire Place, London Full Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week Permanent

At The London Clinic, we provide some of the most advanced diagnostic and treatment services in independent healthcare. As part of our commitment to delivering outstanding patient care, we are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer to join our Imaging team in a varied and rewarding Band 6 role spanning both CT and General Imaging. This is an excellent opportunity for a radiographer who enjoys working across multiple modalities and wants to further develop their expertise within a technologically advanced and patient-focused environment.

The role offers a unique split between CT and General Imaging, providing exposure to a broad range of examinations and procedures while working alongside highly experienced radiologists and multidisciplinary teams. What You'll Be Doing Working as part of our expert Imaging team, you will:

  • Perform a comprehensive range of CT examinations, including angiography, oncology, trauma, colonography and contrast-enhanced studies.
  • Deliver high-quality general radiography services across inpatient, outpatient, mobile and theatre settings.
  • Support fluoroscopy and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R regulations, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
  • Coordinate imaging lists and contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the department.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits and service development projects.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to ongoing education and professional development within the team.

What We're Looking For Essential - BSc Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)

  • HCPC registration
  • Significant post-graduate experience in General Radiography
  • Experience in CT imaging and Interventional Radiology
  • Strong understanding of radiation protection principles and IR(ME)R regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, patient-centred approach to care

Desirable - Postgraduate qualification (PgDip or MSc)

  • IV Cannulation Certificate
  • Experience within MRI or Breast Imaging
  • Experience coordinating clinical areas or supporting junior colleagues
