Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and committed Registered Manager to take the lead at our CQC-registered Service. In this pivotal role, you will shape the direction of the service, driving a culture of excellence and empowering your team to deliver consistently high standards of person-centred care. Working closely with the Manager, you'll have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and continuously improve the service ensuring it remains safe, effective, and truly responsive to the needs of the people we support. Your key responsibilities include: Delivering Outstanding Care: Ensuring individuals receive personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion, with care plans that reflect their evolving needs. & Compliance: Overseeing CQC registration and ensuring organisation meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services at all times. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to individual needs.Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive team environment.Ensure the safety and well-being of all service users.Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.Promote continuous improvement and best practices within the service.Manage budgets and resources effectively. Qualifications
Previous experience as a Registered Manager is highly desirable.Demonstrable experience of working within a respite service, ideally within the Learning Disability sector.Strong understanding of the adult social care sector and relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements.Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to effectively oversee a service and staff team.Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service.A minimum of 12 months remaining on your Right to work in the UK.
