The post holder will provide technical and operational support as part of the Corporate Applications Team, working with clinical and non-clinical staff, stakeholders, suppliers, and Digital & Technology teams to support a portfolio of critical applications. The role is responsible for incident and request management, system administration, configuration, user access management, Registration Authority services, role-based access control (RBAC), starter and leaver processes, doctors' inductions, testing, and change implementation.
The post holder will support key systems including CareFlow EPR, RiO, SmartNotes, CMM, Narrative, TOCA e-Triage, AVT, Patient Flow, Connect, Vitals, Workspace, TotalMobile, Community PEP, Plan of Care, Registration Authority services, and Identity & Access Management solutions. The role will help maintain system availability, data quality, information governance compliance, clinical safety standards, and operational continuity to support safe and effective patient care.
Working closely with Senior Corporate Applications Analysts, clinicians, operational teams, project teams and suppliers, the post holder will support business-as-usual services and Digital Health Programme initiatives, ensuring digital solutions continue to meet organisational and patient needs.
The post holder will work flexibly across Trust sites and participate in the Corporate Applications on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support for critical systems and services.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Essential: - Good digital literacy and IT skills; - Evidence of on-going personal development
Desirable: - Exposure to ITIL Practices
EXPERIENCE
Essential: - Previous experience working with Clinical Systems in a Healthcare organisation; - Troubleshooting complex applications; - Working in projects
Desirable: - Experience of EPR admin, configuration and support
SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE
Desirable
- Good knowledge of NHS systems and applications used nationally within the NHS.
- Awareness of Information Governance policies and obligations, including Data Protection Act and an understanding of patient data confidentiality
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Essential: - Able to travel between all Trust sites; - Able to work flexibly both in terms of hours, location, role including occasional evening and weekends .
Desirable: - Able to provide on-call services
