- Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for people receiving rehabilitation care
- Plan menus that consider dietary, cultural and individual care needs
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
- Monitor stock levels, support ordering processes and ensure effective stock rotation
- Work with colleagues to provide a responsive and high-quality catering service

Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Production/Nutrition or equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
- Valid level 3 food hygiene or equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
Knowledge
Essential
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe working practices
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at work act and requirements
- Knowledge of CHCP and their mission statement
- Knowledge of advanced food hygiene processes
- Knowledge of special dietary requirements
Experience
Essential
- Previous experience of working in a kitchen and a health and care setting
- Experience of maintaining records
Desirable
- Previous experience of working with the general public
