This post is for a Consultant Cross-Sectional Radiologist based at North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH), part of the Royal Free London NHS Found...
The post holder will work with the existing departmental consultants and should beable to demonstrate excellent specialist imaging skills, in addition to strong generalradiology abilities.The clinical duties of the post will include supporting all aspects of the theirsub-speciality as well as contributing to the general workload of the department. The role will include working in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver theservices in line with performance KPIs and clinical outcome metrics. The job requiresthe post holder to be able to work under pressure and to be flexible and adaptive tothe needs of the patient and the service. Appropriate sub-speciality interest andtraining is essential.

Education & professional Qualifications
Essential
- FRCR or equivalent
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Postgraduate degree
- CCST/CCT or equivalent in radiology and on the specialist register, or within 6 months of CCT date at the time of interview, or evidence of working towards specialist registration via the Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR)
- Experience and higher training in neuroradiology (Fellowship or equivalent)

- Knowledge and participation in clinical audit
- Understanding of Clinical Governance
- Experience on providing high quality training and education to undergraduates and postgraduates
Skills and aptitudes

- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients and relatives
- Evidence of leadership and management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience of service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment
