Job overview NCIC is expanding and investing in its Frailty services to integrate between community and secondary care. North Cumbria has an ageing population and is seeing more older people living with frailty in our emergency departments and on our wards. We know that a hospital stay makes it less likely that an elderly person can return home and live independently so we have introduced a new Frailty Hub to provide a same day service.
