You will be required to work across West Yorkshire to provide:
- Strategic, professional and clinical leadership for the Link-ED service.
- Ensure robust clinical governance arrangements are in place for future delivery of psychological therapies and Psychological interventions.
- Work closely with clinical, operational and professional leaders to ensure services are delivered in line with Trust policies, governance frameworks and national guidance.
- Contribute to the development of the Link-ED clinical model and service specification
- A psychological perspective on service priorities, and system-wide developments.
- Support workforce development and capacity building by setting up supervisory structures to provide specialist clinical supervision (including CBT ED) within Link-ED, and where appropriate and agreed, across the wider system. Working alongside West Yorkshire Psychological Professions Workforce Lead on workforce expansion in line with national priorities to improve access to evidence-based psychological therapies for eating disorders.
- Maintain a small specialist clinical caseload, providing assessment, formulation and psychological interventions for individuals with eating disorders, alongside support for families and carers.

Qualifications and registration
Essential
- Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent prior to 1996) and HCPC registration as Practitioner Psychologist. And Accreditation with BABCP as a CBT therapist Or Postgraduate Diploma qualification in Cognitive and/or Behavioural Psychotherapy AND Accreditation with BABCP as a CBT therapist. With either a prior core profession or via KSA route.
Experience
Essential
- Experience of teaching, training and supervision of other staff: clinical and professional/managerial.
- Experience in taking a lead on projects/services within health care system ideally including development of clinical models / services for people presenting with Eating disorders / Disordered eating.
Skills
Essential
- Doctoral or equivalent level of knowledge of research methodology, research design and service evaluation as practiced within the fields of psychological professions
Training
Essential
- Additional post qualification training and experience relevant to the service and job role outlined in the job summary including clinical supervisor training and CBT for eating disorders.
