We are seeking a proactive and organised Compliance Assistant to support the monitoring and auditing of Estates and Facilities services across Trust sites. The role involves carrying out inspections and audits, analysing performance data, maintaining compliance records, and working closely with clinical teams, contractors and service providers to ensure services meet contractual and regulatory standards. This is a varied and active role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to service improvement.

Priority will be given to colleagues identified as at risk through the Trust's redeployment process.

Education and Qualifications

Essential

  • Good general level of education (e.g. GCSE or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • IT literacy with competence in Microsoft Office applications

Experience

Desirable

  • Experience working within Estates and Facilities, Soft FM or an NHS organisation
  • Experience of working with a PFI environment or with service delivery contracts

Knowledge/Skills and Abilities

Essential: - Ability to work accurately with attention to detail

Desirable: - Awareness of NHS policies and procedures; - Knowledge and experience of cleaning standards and methodologies

  • Strong organisations skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
