Community Support Worker

We're recruiting Children's Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to children and young people across Warrington. In this rewarding role, you'll help young people overcome challenges, build independence, access their communities, and achieve goals that make a real difference to their lives. The Role As a Children's Support Worker, you will provide tailored support through regular 4-6 hour shifts, helping children and young people engage with their local communities, develop life skills, and work towards personal goals. Key responsibilities include:

Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs and aspirationsEncouraging independence, confidence, and personal developmentPromoting wellbeing, social inclusion, and positive outcomesSupporting access to community activities, appointments, and local servicesBuilding positive and professional relationships with children, young people, and their familiesFollowing support plans and agreed goalsMonitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns appropriatelyEnsuring safeguarding procedures and care standards are maintained at all times What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A minimum of 6 months' experience in care, support work or a similar settingExperience supporting children and young peopleA strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundariesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA caring, patient, and empathetic approachThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain oneThe right to work in the UK Why Join Us?
