The Role As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people to develop essential life skills, access their communities, and achieve their personal goals. Key responsibilities include:
Providing tailored support based on individual needs and support plansEncouraging independence, confidence, and personal developmentPromoting wellbeing, social inclusion, and positive experiencesSupporting access to community activities, appointments, and local servicesBuilding positive and professional relationships with children and their familiesMonitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns appropriatelyFollowing safeguarding procedures and maintaining high standards of care What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll have:
A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or support roleExperience supporting children and young peopleA good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundariesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA caring, patient, and empathetic approachThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain oneThe right to work in the UK Why Join Us?
