About the Role As a Community Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to children and adults within their homes and local community settings. You will play a key role in promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes through person-centred support. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.Supporting people with daily living activities and life skills development.Encouraging independence, confidence, and community engagement.Assisting with appointments, educational activities, social outings, and recreational opportunities.Building positive and professional relationships with service users and their families.Following person-centred care plans Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any safeguarding concerns appropriately.Promoting dignity, choice, and inclusion. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or support environment working with children and/or adults.Experience providing 1:1 or 2:1 support is desirable.A good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A caring, patient, and compassionate approach.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.A valid DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).The right to work in the UK.
