Community Support Worker

As a Community Support Worker, you will help children develop independent living skills, enhance their emotional wellbeing, and provide practical day-to-day assistance. This role is essential in helping children lead safer, happier, and more fulfilling lives. Day-to-day of the role:

Support children in community-based settings, helping them grow their independence and confidence.Promote positive wellbeing and social inclusion through active engagement and supportive interactions.Follow person-centred support plans to meet the individual needs of the children.Build trusting and professional relationships, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.Monitor the wellbeing of children and report any concerns to the appropriate professionals.Assist children in accessing activities, appointments, and local services.Ensure all safeguarding and care standards are maintained. Required Skills & Qualifications:

A minimum of 6 months experience in a care or support setting with children.Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A valid DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service. Support available for new DBS applications.The right to work in the UK. Note: We do not provide sponsorships for this role. Benefits:
