When you join us, you can expect to be supported in developing your skills and confidence in the band 5 role, there will be a minimum of two-week local induction
We fully support staff to particulate in the Trusts preceptorship program for newly registered nurses
You would have a development plan, personalised to your experience, strengths and identified development needs
We host regular reflective practice sessions, training days, clinical and management supervision.
We work Monday to Friday excluding bank Holidays

Qualifications
Essential: - Nursing degree or equivalent RN(MH); - Membership qualification or willingness to undertake training
Experience
Desirable: - Previous experience of working with mental health needs
Skills
Essential: - Ability to work regularly unsupervised; - Good Observation and reporting Skills; - Ability to display calm, mature response to difficult situations
Desirable: - Ability to supervise others
Knowledge
Essential: - Understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality
Desirable: - Awareness of security and its impact and willingness to expand knowledge on it; - Working knowledge/application of the Mental Health Act 1993
Other
Essential: - Ability to travel independently; - Awareness and understanding equity and diversity issues
