We are looking for an enthusiastic , creative individual to become an integral part of our small fundraising team.

You will ideally have experience across a wide range of fundraising activities, including community, events, corporate and individual giving, and have the passion and commitment to deliver challenging targets.

You will have a proven track record in building and developing relationships with colleagues, supporters and the wider community, and be well used to delivering outstanding support care and stewardship at all time.

Knowledge and skills

Essential

  • Ability to deliver high standards of supporter care and stewardship.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage confidently with the public and represent the charity positively.
  • Experience of assessing risk and working safely.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of fundraising or sales and event/campaign delivery.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience working in a fundraising, community engagement, events, sales, or customer facing role.
  • Experience of meeting targets or objectives within a role.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or Functional Skills (level 2)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and systems, the majority of which are non-routine, acquired through training and experience to Vocational Level 3 or equivalent; plus knowledge of specialist functional/medical/legal terms, organisational policies and procedures and knowledge and experience to deal with non-routine issues such as problem solving for an area of work or developing alternative or additional procedures.
