An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join the Brent and Harrow Community Diabetes Specialist Servi...
- Manage team diaries, workloads, clinics and patient appointments, maintaining accurate schedules and records.
- Process referrals, maintain waiting lists and ensure patient information is managed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Act as a key point of contact for patients, carers and healthcare professionals, providing clear and professional communication.
- Manage the Diabetes generic inbox, correspondence and enquiries, escalating issues appropriately when required.
- Support the wider administrative function through reception cover, office coordination, staff support and cross-cover for colleagues.

Education/Qualification
Essential
- Good literacy and numeracy, general education
- NVQ Admin Level 3 in Administration or Equivalent combination of NVQ2, short courses and experienc
Experience
Essential
- Experience of inputting to databases, spreadsheets and/or other IT systems and business applications used in the office environment
- Experience of working with the general public in a customer service role
Desirable
- Experience of working in a health care environment
- Knowledge of stock ordering procedures
Skills & Knowledge
Essential
- Ability to create and structure office systems e.g., filing, stationery and equipment ordering
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook )
- Accurate copy typing
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Able to prepare routine correspondence independently
- Evidence of excellent organisational skills
Desirable
- Experience of working in an environment requiring an awareness of safeguarding children, vulnerable adults or complex medical needs
