  • Embody the visions and values of Surrey & Borders Partnership Foundation NHSTrust
  • Adhere to the code of practice/conduct of your registering body at all times
  • Discharge professional responsibilities under the Mental Health Act (1983) and revised subsequent act Mental Capacity Act (2005) and the NMC Professional Code of Conduct
  • Be accountable and responsible for own practice.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate evidence-based programmes of care; set standards of care and liaise with other agencies, particularly in relation to people discharged under the Care Programme Approach.
  • Participate in the multi-disciplinary assessment of individuals with mental health problems or vulnerabilities living in the community, by providing a community mental health perspective and expertise

Qualifications

Essential

  • NMC/AHP professional registration
  • Evidence of postgraduate education and training i.e. PGDip, MSc etc

Desirable

  • Evidence of Mentorship, management or leadership training

Experience

Essential

  • Relevant clinical and leadership experience at Band 6, including supervision of staff
  • Clinical Experience in assessment/crisis services.

Desirable

  • Delivering therapeutic interventions.
