As a vital member of the care team, you will support Registered Practitioners in the delivery of routine patient care. You will undertake a broad range of care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
You will be required to work flexibly which will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays
The post holder will need to attend a period of induction and training before commencing in the role.

Qualifications
Essential: - GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths; - Care Certificate
Desirable
- 5 GCSE grade 4 or C and above or equivalent
- Evidence of mandatory and statutory essential training skills, for example, Basic Life Support, manual handling, infection control, fire etc
- Education and training to NVQ level 3/Work based diploma or equivalent
Experience
Essential: - Minimum 6 Months current experience in Health or Social Care Environment delivering personal care
Desirable: - Three months (within the last two years) experience of working in NHS
Knowledge/Skills
Essential
- Ability to demonstrate a clear desire to work in NHS and a clear understanding of the role of a HCA
- Ability to work under instruction from a Registered Practitioner with direct supervision and support
