To plan, undertake and perform interpretation on a range of diagnostic assessments and treatment interventions. Such investigations and treatment interventions could include: Spirometry, peak flow measurements/PEF diaries; Gas transfer factor testing; Static lung volumes via body plethysmography; Reversibility of airways obstruction with bronchodilators; Field exercise tests (e.g. 6 minute walk test); Respiratory Muscle Assessments Overnight oximetry Score and report Polygraphy Arterial Blood gas performance and analysis / Capillary blood gas performance and analysis; FENO CPET leading (with a view to working to B7 Level) CPAP setup and CPAP Review's New sleep patients consultations NIV set up ( under band 7 supervision)

- Independently perform and interpret basic and advanced lung function testing including PFT, Blood gases , RMA and challenge testing

- Independently score and clinical report sleep studies including oximetry , polygraphy and actigraphy

- Independently set patients up on CPAP therapy and appropriately adjust treatment via follow up

- Experience of line managing staff and supporting students

- Relevant scientific degree/qualification in respiratory and sleep, recognised by RCCP/AHCS
